Welcome to Lifeline Rosary. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Lifeline Rosary mobile application (the "App") operated by Lifeline Rosary ("us", "we", or "our"), based in New South Wales, Australia.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the App.
1. App Store and Google Play Terms
These Terms are between you and us only, not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. We are solely responsible for the App and its content. However, Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, meaning they have the right to enforce these Terms against you.
- You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App (e.g., your wireless data service agreement).
- Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.
2. Subscriptions and "Patron" Edition
Lifeline Rosary offers a free "Core Experience" and a paid premium tier known as the "Patron of the Arts Edition" (or simply "Patron Edition").
- Purchases: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-Renewing Subscriptions: The Patron Edition is available as an auto-renewing subscription for $4.99 AUD/month (prices may vary by region and are subject to change). Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Lifetime/Founders: Any "lifetime unlock" granted to Founding Members is tied to the original account and is non-transferable.
3. User-Generated Content (Intercession Mode)
Our App allows you to select photos of individuals from your device for the purpose of the "Intercession Mode" feature.
- You retain all your ownership rights in your User Content.
- You agree not to use any images that are unlawful, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Strict Privacy of Photos: We deeply respect your privacy. Any photos you select for Intercession Mode are stored strictly locally on your own device. They are never uploaded to our servers, databases, or any third-party services. We have zero access to the photos you use within the App.
4. Intellectual Property
The App and its original content, features, functionality, and classic artworks (in their compiled, digital format within the App) are and will remain the exclusive property of [Your Name] and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both Australia and foreign countries.
5. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for a breach of a non-excludable guarantee is limited, at our option, to supplying the services again or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We provide no warranties, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
